We bought our weddings rings on Amazon and saved a packet compared to what we would have paid for the exact same quality rings on the high street. Because they were plain rings it was probably less risky than buying ornate rings that we'd never tried on though. Still whenever the option of an Eternity ring arises I may be back on Etsy.
In the meantime, I might just have to make do with treating myself to these fab earrings from Irish Etsy seller NiceDayDesigns

I bought mine on Ebay 7 years ago and everyone here thought I must be nuts. But this was the time when the Celtic Tiger was roaring and we just couldn't find anything in Ireland that was affordable. So, yes, I would buy online. But make sure you can return it if it doesn't work out.
