One of my new year’s resolutions is to set up a book club. I’ve put together a nice little website, scoped out the perfect venue (the Library Bar -of course!), chosen the book for our first meeting and have a good few people already signed up – Yay for me. On the downside, I haven’t spent much time writing new material for the blog (thereby contravening another of my new year’s resolutions).
Contemplating this imbalance between the book club and the blog made me think wouldn’t a library themed wedding be so much fun. Invites could be in the form of library cards, book titles could become table names, the seating plan could be laid out on alphabetised index cards. For a couple with literary leanings, there would be so many fun ways to apply this theme and yet still keep a romantic and stylish feel to the day.
