So are you trying to think of the perfect wedding/anniversary/Christmas/birthday gift for the woman who seems to have everything? I might have just the thing for you. Pretty as a Picture is the brainchild of two Irish graphic designers, Aibhe Ryan and Jane O’Sullivan. As well as bespoke letterpress and digital stationery , they create custom pieces of art and specialises in fabulous wedding dress portraits.
What a beautiful gift to give the recent or soon-to-be bride in your life – her dress immortalised in a stunning piece of art that can take pride of place in her home. Given that the first anniversary is the paper anniversary this would be an ideal gift from a husband to give his wife to celebrate their first year of married life (Mr Mc if you’re reading –hint,hint,nidge,nudge). I also think this would make a lovely gift from a bridesmaid to a bride. You can either surprise the lucky lady with the actual illustration by emailing photographs of the dress to Pretty as a Picture or you can present them with a voucher and allow her to pick the photographs she wants the illustration to be based on.

So I’m absolutely delighted that Aibhe and Jane are offering readers the chance to win a €150 voucher which can be used for a custom piece of art such as a wedding dress illustration. Aibhe and Jane will pick the best comment and the lucky person will either have a great treat for themselves or a fantastic present to give to someone this Christmas.
